How much do you charge to build a website?

There’s not a simple answer to this question. The website design is quoted on the needs of each project. Every website is different with a unique set of requirements. We design and develop a website specific to your business. We ask a lot of questions, get to know your business, and give you a price quote based on what we think will meet all your requirements AND will best grow your business. How long will it take to complete my website?

Our standard timeline is 2-6 weeks but this depends on the project size and your requirements. Speed is affected by how much input you can give during the initial stages,  how soon the content is provided, as well as edits and revisions. We aim to get you the website your business needs as soon as possible and provide a timeline for each project so you know where we at!

Do I have to be in Wellington to work with you?

No! We work with clients all over the world and can communicate by email, scheduled calls and Zoom meetings. 

Will I be able to update the site myself when it’s finished?

Yes! We build on WordPress with a very user-friendly theme so you can make simple edits like text and image updates, adding in links, uploading documents and resources, add blogs and articles. We provide video tutorials upon completion of your website to help you make any updates you need. We are available to complete more complex changes and maintenance whenever you need us.

Will you maintain our website for us?

We can help maintain your website, or you can do so yourself with the more minor changes. The choice is 100% up to you. We provide on-going support for many of our clients but it is not mandatory and you will not be charged a monthly fee. You can contact us as you require updates to your website and we will provide an hourly quote based on your requests. 

Do you provide website hosting?

Yes. We work with trusted local suppliers for premium site security, all website updates, daily backups, and site analytics. 

Will my website be mobile-friendly?

Absolutely! Having a mobile-friendly website is more important than ever! We work hard to ensure your website is responsive on modern devices and browsers. 

How much input do I have in the website design process?

As much as you want! We start with a lot of questions about your needs, your likes, your wants, and work with you to develop just the right look and functionality.  We also get you to provide sample websites before we begin your project. This is for you and your business so we work with you to create a website you love.  We’re a team and look forward to hearing your ideas BUT if this part scares you and you have no idea where to start – that’s all good too because we are awesome at what we do! 

Who writes the text/content for the website?

The content comes from you but we can guide you through the process AND tweak the words if necessary. You are the expert on your business, so it’s always best if it comes from you. We are really good at this stuff and know what we need and how to get it out of you! If you need more assistance, we have a copywriter on our team who can help write original content for you at an additional cost of $120 per hour.

Do you only create WordPress websites?

Yes! WordPress is the best content management system that powers more than 42% of the world wide web. Its huge market share is due to it’s flexibility and ease of use. From minimal, informational, template websites that are to the point – to a more custom website with specific functionality to achieve your website goals, we’ve worked on all kinds of websites and worked with countless industries all on WP.

What if I need help on my site down the road?

We are only an email away! We’re here to help you as much or as little as you need, and we’ll be available even beyond the launch of your new website. Is SEO included in my website build?

YES – we won’t build a website without it. No point having a website no one can find right? This does not cover monthly management which can be discussed if required.

Do you work with new and small businesses?

Yes! we work with all types of businesses – new and small up to larger national organizations. We are excited to work and guide new businesses who are passionate about taking their first steps into an online presence and bringing their vision to life.

Who sorts out the images?

We can source free images for you from websites such as Unsplash.  Your assistance and direction will be required to find the perfect images, photographs, graphics, vectors for your website and your brand. For personal service-based sites, we do recommend getting professional photographs nd have several photographers we can recommend depending on your needs.
