Add Divi Social Media Links

Transcript:

Hi there. This is Jason from Grow My Business and today I wanna show you how to use the social media module in Divi. So, um, you might be building a post or a page or something and you’ll want to add your
little Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or X, whatever you want.

So we’ve logged in here, we’ve gone to the page that we wanna add it on. We can see we’ve got a naval visual builder here. Sweet. So click that. Now we just wait for the visual builder to load. Awesome. And now we are here.

So this is, this has slowly turned into a little bit of a mess as we’ve been making tutorials on the one page. But, so you can see that’s where we’re doing FAQs, text blocks, but we’ll continue the mess and we’ll click a little plus button down here. So you go, all your elements here, we’re slowly going through, but here’s the one you want. Social media follow. Cool.

And you click there and you can see by default, dunno why it’s always got Facebook and Twitter, but you can add a new network here. And then it will open into like the individual item. I’ll go back and show you how to edit that. And you can see you’ve got all of these here.

Um, if it’s not here, it becomes a little bit more problematic and probably just comes to us at that point and we’ll put something in for you. But they pretty much every look, they even have TikTok chuck it in there. Um, couples settings, it’s a little bit weird if you want it to be thematic.

You can see they’ve got background here. So that’s how actually the background color. So say everyone to be G and B yellow. Cool. And you can go into design Icon E can also change the icon color, although white on yellow looks pretty good. I might be biased.

So we’ve done that. If we clicked that, that saves the little one, but not the whole thing. So you want to double click that. So we’ve added TikTok in, but we can also go into Twitter and I realize that no one really uses Twitter, so we’ll delete Twitter, go into Facebook.

And then the important part is you wanna put your account link in here. So that’s going to facebook.com, going to your profile, just copying it, paste it in. Same with TikTok. So, and we’ll do the same thing here. For consistency sake, get rid of the blue, put the yellow in and then, yeah, sweet.

So obviously I won’t share my personal Facebook, but we’ll just do, It’s probably, definitely not a handle, but we’ll put it in there. Anyway, save, save. And now you can see we’ve got two little icons there. You can also change global things. I should mention, yeah, you can align in center, right, left.

So it’s the same basic editing tools you have for everything. You can change the global icon color. I think I honestly prefer black on yellow. I think it’s a bit more bold. Say if they’re too small for your liking. There you go. You increase the sites, put it to 22 px, even numbers, good numbers.

Save, save, exit, the visual builder. And now we have our cooler social media icons here. So you click that all open Facebook, but bang, but bang.

I’m not gonna show you my personal Facebook, but trust me it works. All right, cheers.
