How to Sign Into Figma and Add Comments

Figma allows you to view designs and leave comments so you can share feedback. You won’t be able to edit or inspect the design, but you will be able to add comments.

Sign into Figma

1. Open the Figma link that has been provided to you.
2. Choose how you would like to sign in:
   • Click Sign up and create an account using your email address.
   • Or choose Continue with Google.
3. If you sign up with your email, enter your details and create a password.
4. Check your email and click the verification link from Figma.
5. Enter your name and click Continue.
6. When asked how you will use Figma, select View and comment only.
7. Click Finish.

You will now have access to view the design and add comments.

Add a comment in Figma

1. Open the Figma file.
2. Use the zoom controls to find the area you would like to comment on:
   • Hold Command while scrolling to zoom in and out.
   • Hold Shift while scrolling to move left and right.
3. Click the Comment button.
4. Click on the part of the design you would like to leave feedback on.
5. Type your comment.
   For example:
   Change this heading to [new heading]
6. Click to submit your comment.

Your comment will appear in the comments panel, and the team will be notified.

Please note that you will only have permission to view and comment on the design. Editing access is not required for leaving feedback.
