How to update your SEO Metadata on your WordPress website using RankMath

Transcript:

Yeah, this is a quick tutorial on how to update the SEO metadata on your WordPress website. So in the backend we’ve gone to dashboard, and then we go to our pages where we see a list of all of our pages on our website here.

Now we can see some SEO details here, and you can easily just click these. However, what I’d strongly recommend is if we go into the individual page, click on edit.

Now we use rank math on our websites here. And in the top corner here, you’ll see this. Um, when you hover over this, this says Rank math. It’ll have this little symbol here and this is where you can, um, input the information that you’d like to see.

So we put in our focus, that’s not the right one there. We put in our keyword That’s Still not coming up. Wellington Web Design. And then we can edit the snippet. So this here is what you’ll see, um, in a little preview view. There we go. Wellington Web Design, and then the description as well. Definitely do not change the permalink. If you wanna change that, um, let us know and we can help you with that.

This is not the place to change it if there is something you’d like to change about the URL, so just the title
and just the description here along with the focus keyword. And this gives you a little bit of a guide, uh, for how that will look on Google when it um, comes up.

Then you wanna make sure that you click save in the top corner and then you’re all done. Back to pages. Thank you so much.
