Setup Email Automation in MailerLite
Transcript:
Hi. So let me show you how to set up an automation. So with automations, it’s a really good way for email marketing to keep your new signups engaged and to get them what they would like. So if you have a free download on your website, or something like this, then this is a really good way to preload everything that you want to send them. Including the free download for example.
So I’ve gone over to automations and click start building from scratch. So your first trigger is what brings the person into starting this workflow. So it’s going to be when they join a group. So when they join a group it’s going to be website signups or a free download or whichever group you’ve determined there. We want to save that one.
Then we’ve got this little plus button. Firstly we want to send them the free download or say welcome to the, to us, to our website. All those things. And then you’ve got your design email on the side here which takes you to your email builder. Ah, you need to name it as well. There we go.
Click save on that one. Then we can add a delay. So what I tend to do is, for the first one, give it about five days so they don’t feel too bombarded and then you can send your second email to them. And say how are you getting on.
So this is just a good space to do your email marketing a wee bit. You can have it all pre-loaded and so you don’t have to do it over and over. Again, have your delay. Having something like this three to five emails is, is reasonable. Then you can either take an action.
Again, so you can either remove them from the group. You probably don’t want to do that one. Move to a different group or copy to a different group as well. So that’s where you kind of want to finish off something there. Super easy to set up.
And it just gives you this big flow on effect there. Click save. Oh, no, I need a copy to Christmas group. Save there. You can drop in and out of. You don’t need to take this at any point, but it’s a really great way to just set up your workflow there.
Awesome, thanks.
